This year we see one of our longest standing clients celebrate 35 years of being in business... 35 years! That's a milestone unheard of in almost any facet of life, and is most certainly not typical of most businesses. Even more impressive is the fact that it was accomplished in an industry heavily influenced by so many outside factors – local economy, global economy, government intervention and ever increasing code restrictions.
Yet, in those 35 years Joseph Hughes Construction has weathered the storms and come out on the other side, when many were unable to continue that journey. Whether it's a marriage, a partnership, employment or business lifetime, 35 years is truly an inspiring achievement for just about anything in this life. It's been our privilege to serve JHC for the last 16 years, and while Joe Hughes himself ultimately holds the key to what got him to this landmark, knowing and working with Joe I've learned a small amount of what is required – you never give up, even if it seems the wall is insurmountable.
